On an early morning before I opened up the gallery in autumn, I brought my paints with me to this corner in the Autumn of 2023. It was a stunning morning with a warm breeze! I had a good plein air base but it need more work- into the studio it went. I worked on this piece during the winter time. This piece I pushed the transparency and impasto-ness the most I ever have.
